NAB arrests two officers for 26 illegal recruitments

The National Accountability Bureau, Karachi, has arrested two accused namely Badar Jamil Mandhro, the then secretary minorities affairs, presently working as Secretary Excise and Taxation Department, Sindh, and Khadim Hussain Channa, the then director minorities affairs, presently working as director Anti-Corruption Department, Sindh.

The arrested accused being the members of the departmental selection committee, Minorities Affairs Department, Sindh, were allegedly found involved in illegal recruitment of 26 officers in the minorities affairs department through illegal means after taking bribes and gratification.

The accused persons patronised and appointed ineligible candidates, relatives and friends of politicians purely on nepotism in violation of laid down rules and merit.
