Rs 600m for six new colleges

The Punjab government has released a grant amounting to Rs 600 million for the construction of six new colleges.

Out of this grant, one women’s college will be opened in Jhelum city and Singhori, each. A male college will be opened in Hassan Abdal and Attock, each. Another women’s college will be setup in Mandra. A degree college for men and another for women, is being built in Dhamial Rawalpindi.

Director colleges Professor Hummayun Iqbal said construction work in respect of these colleges has started. However, these colleges will become functional within two years. With the construction of these colleges, the Rawalpindi division will have six new model colleges, four among them will be for women and two for men.

  1. It was nowhere further discussed all of the challenges have already been disclosed but still one have to put their best emphasis on instances which needed to be granted with sufficient challenges.
