ISLAMABAD:
PPP Leader Asif Ali Zardari appeared in an accountability court in Rawalpindi after being summoned by the court in a case regarding his assets, according to local media sources.
Asif Zardari, Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), was accompanied with his legal team, sources stated.
On his plea, the judge granted Zardari exemption from appearing before the court and he would be represented by his lawyer Farooq H. Naek in upcoming hearings of the case, according to authorities.
