ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday postponed his visits to Gilgit-Baltistan and Karachi due to bad weather conditions, according to local media sources.
According to Samaa correspondent, the PTI chief was due to fly for Gilgit region today through a private aircraft to address three public gatherings; however, Civil Aviation (CA) didn’t give clearance to his aircraft due to rough weather, prompting Khan to defer his visit, sources stated.
Imran Khan was also scheduled to leave for Karachi today, through PIA flight PK-369, but the bad weather forced him to postpone his visit during which he was due to meet members of Ismaili community to offer condolence over Safoora Chowrangi incident, authorities claimed.
