Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member Azam Swati on Wednesday clinched a Senate seat which fell vacant after the death of ANP senator Azam Khan Hoti.
The PTI candidate obtained 71 votes against 41 of the JUI-F candidate, Haji Ghulam Ali.
Six votes were declared invalid out of which four were polled in favour of Azam Swati while two in favour of Haji Ghulam Ali.
