Late distribution of question papers during the intermediate statistics exams at various examination centres by the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Board (RBISE) has triggered grave concerns among the students.

The question papers were distributed by RBISE examination staff one hour late at various examination centres, including government Asghar Mall college Rawalpindi. The candidates kept on waiting for one hour and they were then told that the paper has been received from bank late.

The candidates were not allowed one additional hour to solve the paper and the staff deployed there started collecting the answer sheets at the appointed time instead of extending the time.

The students who voiced protest over this grave malpractice and sheer negligence were warned that disciplinary action would be initiated against them if they don’t stop raising a hue and cry. The students came out of centre in utter despair and recorded their complaint in writing with their principal. Some students informed the RBISE authorities but all their efforts went in vain.

The RBISE has neither taken notice of this negligence nor provided any relief to the affected students.
