Rs 1m compensation given to Indian BSF brutality victim

Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal on Sunday gave a cheque of Rs 1 million to the grieved family of Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) brutality victim Amanat Ali as a financial compensation by the Punjab government.

He went to the house of the slain Pakistani farmer Amanat Ali in village Sariya Kothey-Shakargarh. He strongly condemned the brutal killing of a Shakargarh based Pakistani citizen Amanat Ali by the Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) in Shakargarh Sector of Sialkot Working Boundary here on May 01, 2015 (two days ago).

On May 1, the Indian BSF had brutally gunned down village Sariya Kothey-Shakargarh based innocent Pakistani farmer Amanat Ali, 40, after dragging him from a Pakistani territory while harvesting the wheat crops in his fields in border village in Shakargarh sector of Sialkot Working Boundary.
