Islamabad Police have arrested 24 suspects during search operation in various areas of the city on Saturday.
A police spokesman said that following the directives of IGP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan directed to all SDPOs and SHOs for enhancing patrolling as well as checking in various areas of the city and conduct search operation at slum areas, Afghan habitats, under construction buildings, workshops, bus stands and inns, Sub-Divisional police officers performing in Islamabad headed this search operation in the jurisdiction of Shalimar police station.
They succeeded to arrest 24 suspects who are being investigated further. SSP Islamabad has said the purpose of this search operation and high vigilance is to ensure foolproof security in the city and he further directed all SHOs to continue it.
