The Islamabad High Court on Thursday sought replies from interior, foreign and establishment secretaries on a petition moved by two sacked police officers, who maintained that they have been illegally terminated from service.

When IHC judge Athar Minallah took up the petitions of Muhammad Ali Nekokara and Aftab Ahmed Cheema, their counsel Babar Sattar told the court that the two police officers were terminated from service when they did not follow illegal orders of the government during the PTI and PAT sit-ins.

He contended that they have been terminated on malafide by the government.

He requested the court to summon the relevant government functionaries to seek their replies on the issue to do immediate justice to his clients.

The court while issuing notices adjourned the matter for 10 days.
