While talking to a delegation of business community led by Patron-in-Chief of United Business Group (UBG) of the FPCCI, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said government will not allow anything, including energy crisis, to shrink growth rate.
National Assembly Member Pervaiz Malik was also present on the occasion.
He said that economic development is linked to the cooperation of business community therefore, the government is trying its best to provide them an enabling environment.
He said that the economic policies and achievements are being acknowledged across the country and abroad which will change the fate of the nation.
He said that we are pinning high hopes on FPCCI and UBG to trigger exports and furnish effective budget proposals for the betterment of the economy.
SM Muneer said that agreements worth billions of dollars with China, positive developments on KASA 1,000 project and LNG imports have gone down very well with the business community and masses in general.
One can see that Karachi is getting better as lawlessness has drastically declined, he said.

Meanwhile, addressing a high level meeting through video link, the chief minister declared the incident of caving in of roof of a dilapidated primary school building in Mujahid Abad, Dera Ghazi Khan, very tragic on Tuesday.
Chief Minister’s Inspection Team chairman presented an enquiry report about the incident.
“Why didn’t the authorities shift the children to another building when the school building was declared dilapidated,” the chief minister questioned.
Where was the monitoring system of Schools Education Department, he questioned.
He directed that the flaws in the system of inspection and monitoring of the education department should immediately be removed.
