Imam-e-Kaaba Shaikh Khalid al-Ghamidi on Thursday arrived in Lahore for a weeklong visit.
Tight security arrangements were made on the arrival of the Imam who landed at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport where Allama Tahir Ashrafi, Allama Sajid Mir and Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Pakistan welcomed him.
According to senior officials of the Saudi government, the Imam will lead Juma prayers at Pakistan’s largest mosque in Bahria Town, Lahore, and address a big public congregation. He will invite the Ummah to unite against the forces of evil. His visit is being accorded special importance by the governments of the two countries.
Senior officials of the Saudi government say the Imam will stay in Pakistan for about a week and will be invited to a special feast by Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He will also attend a seminar arranged for eradication of polio and urge the nation to take special measures in this regard.
The officials have added that Imam-e-Kaaba will stay in Lahore for four days and in Islamabad for three days to help improve relations between the two countries. He will hold special meetings to discuss the current situation in Yemen.

The Arab Ulamah have to suffer tyranny and sacrilege when they are ordered by some powerful people in Riyadh to celebrate Eid on a day what the Arab Ulamah know very well is the last day of Rumdaan. How the Arab Ulamah know this? They go out to search for the new crescent in the sky in the following of the Sunnah of the holy Prophet (pbuh) every month. How can such thing is possible to happen in the centre of Islam. It is not the question of how is it possible. Unbelievable though, as it appears to those, who does not know this truth, It has been happening since the last few decades. How can anyone find this to be true? By doing what the Arab Ulamah do i.e. going out to search for the crescent every month in Arabia or in any country immediately west of Arabia, and compare the Hijree date being used by the Calendar Lobby in Riyadh with what one sees in the sky. One can also compare the date used in Saudi Arabia with what is used in Oman. The Omanis go by sighting of moon except for Zulhijj when they obey the date of calendar used by the Calendar Lobby in Riyadh. On the other hand the Moroccans are the only Arabic speaking people who go by the sighting of new crescent very strictly and rigidly as do the Ulamah in the Indian sub continent.
What do the Muslims living in the west including those from the Indian sub continent do? They opt to support the sacrilege and tyranny the Arab Ulamah suffer by obeying the moon seen on the calendar in Riyadh, thus invalidating their Eids and earning transgression. However all from the sub continent do not support the sacrilege. In fact many oppose it by celebrating Eid as per the Shariah. In spite of these two websites doing wonderful service to the world Ummah the Muslims in the west remain divided between those who obey what Allah shows in the sky and those who reject it by obeying the fiction i.e. the moon seen on calendar in Riyadh. How do the hujjaaj feel of being deprived of assembly in Arafaat on the 9th day just because the day Allah shows in the sky to be the 8th day, those powerful people in Riyadh call it the 9th day as per their calendar. Why the calendar? They want to do and do what Allah does not allow i.e one Hijree date for all over the world. In fact many a times recently when Allah has commanded Muslims from Australia to the Americas to celebrate Eid ul azha on one day disunity has been brought about by the use of the same calendar. All the Arabic speaking people from Kuwait to Algeria except Oman follow the moon seen on calendar in Riyadh. Muslims everywhere in the world must be told this truth. It is not only the Arab Ulamah who oppose the calendar, even some Saudi Princes oppose it as would everyone true to Allah and the holy Prophet (pbuh), yet the powerful people in Riyadh retain the upper hand.
Welcome to Pakistan. We must do actions to unite Ummah of Holy Prophet MUHAMMAD (Peace Be upon Him Forever) rather breaking them only due to our own Devil,s aspirations. We may not face Holy Prophet by doing this Devil,s deed on day of Judgement. Think about it.
