Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday said that he would declare Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain as his brother if he stops ordering targeted killings in Karachi.

“If only MQM’s London-based supremo mends his violent ways we can change our opinion about him,” Khan told a news channel in an exclusive interview. The PTI spearhead minced no words accusing the MQM of running a ring of international target killers.

“Their hitmen are based abroad –in countries like South Africa. They arrive in Pakistan, do their deadly job and then return to the safety of their hideaway countries,” Khan alleged. Khan said all eyes were set on Karachi as the whole country depends on it in more than one way. “As long as Karachi is in trouble Pakistan will never be able to rise to the occasion,” said the PTI leader.

Khan also revealed that a couple of the top MQM leaders were on the verge of defecting. “They are in talks with us right now, but I can’t disclose their names,” Khan said.

Giving the Jamaat-e-Islami a message, Khan said the JI had to now come clean on which side they were on. “We do not care if the JI walks out of the coalition in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government. And if they do then a re-election will follow and we will sweep it,” Khan claimed.

Also this whole “a bunch of them are thinking about defecting card” was played during the dharna which failed miserably if you remember khan sahib, one should learn from his mistakes not repeat them over and over.
