Seven security personnel were injured during a clash in South Waziristan on Tuesday.
According to a security official, militants attacked a checkpost in Ladha Tehsil’s area of Ziarat as a result of which seven security personnel sustained injuries. The attack was successfully repulsed after which militant hideouts were targeted with aerial strikes, security sources said.
In another incident last night, a group of militants from Afghanistan attacked the Nawa Pass security checkpost in Bajaur Agency. The militants were successfully held off, however, two security personnel sustained injuries.
