As many as four family members including two children got severely injured when the ceiling of an under-construction building collapsed in the city on Tuesday.
As per details, Manzoor, labourer by profession, was dwelling in the basement of an under-construction building with his family near Liaqat Chowk, Sabzazaar.
Construction work of building had been halted since long and as the ceiling collapsed with a bang, 10-year-old Usman, 12-year-old Mariam, Shehzad, 35, and Manzoor, 45, were all badly injured.
Neighbours called Rescue 1122 after hearing the sound and rescue workers shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for first aid where doctors declared Manzoor and Shehzad to be in critical condition.
