Blast damages railways in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: 

An explosiong on Monday morning on a railway track in Hyderabad was reported by local media sources. 

According to the Bomb Disposal Squad, unidentified assailants attacked the track using 500 kilograms of explosive material. “The explosives were locally made,” it added.

The blast damaged around 1.5ft of the railway track in Hussainabad area and disrupted train services in the city. The trains were also stranded at the Hyderabad railway station as a result, according to sources.
