Pakistan Hindu Council patron-in-chief and Member National Assembly Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani has urged Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif to send Pak Army Troops to defend Saudi Arabia immediately without any hesitation and further waste of time, adding that contribution of brave Pak Army could be game-changer in the current Middle East crises.

Briefing the media outside the Parliament House during the joint parliamentary session, Dr Ramesh Vankwani, on behalf of Hindu community living across the country, emphasized that following the request of Saudi regime, presence of Pakistani troops within the geographic boundaries of neighbouring country for defence purposes would not be considered as interference in the internal matters but the timely act would be beneficial to further strengthen the bilateral relations with the positive outcomes on long-term bases.

“The current foreign policy of Pakistan of not interfering in the internal matters of other countries is highly appreciated but in the current scenario, restoration of order in Yemen is most important for the promotion of talks and negotiations,” he said.

“The Arabs regard Iranian expansion as an existential threat to them. They see Iran taking over four Arab capitals: Damascus, Baghdad, Sana’a, and, to a certain extent, Beirut as well,” Dr Ramesh said, adding the self-proclaimed Islamic state is another existential threat that undermines the entire Arab world.

While commenting on the formation of United Arab Force, he acknowledged that it was the first time since the Arab coalition in the 1967 war against Israel that Arab countries have decided to join forces in a concrete and strategic way. “So far, there has been a lot of talk about Arab unity. The Arab League’s initiatives on March 29 to establish a joint military force could make this old dream a tangible reality,” he said.

Dr Ramesh declared that the rise of the Houthis in Yemen was a move to destablise Saudi Arabia, while Saudi regime could be critised for a number of reasons by some segments of Pakistani society but their support for Pakistan has been remarkable. While answering a question, he also rejected the possibility of any kind of backlash across Pakistan in response of sending troops there showing his full confidence on Pak Army to control such unpleasant situation, if occurs.

  1. How can we resolve ISIS and BOKO HARMA and AL-QAEDA menace? by supporting Saudi and Arab oil kings gang? providing them latest equipment which will end in the militants hand next day?? (ii) by opposing Iran who is also supplying arms and training to Sheat goons; but they are fighting against militants and has proved their worth in Iraq and Syria and Yemen too. We have to keep in mind that the so called Sunni militants are following extreme Islam ideology of Saudi and other gulf nations, and this ideology is the root cause of destruction of civilization, killings, and atrocities towards women; being carried out by ISIS, BOKO HARAM AND AL QAEDA. Bottom line; US, Saudi-Israel and other Gulf nations approach to provide arms, ammunition and political support to rebels is in reality giving needed arms and ammunition to these militants, and they become more powerful day by day. We must stop such arms supply, and gather other secular Sunni, Iranian to fight against militants. Muslim majority is against such killings, and are suffering many times more than others, and we must provide needed help to them , instead wedging religious war against the Muslim majority.
