The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) on Friday cut off Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) online facility due to pending dues. The police are facing problems in identification of the criminals.
The Sindh CTD has attained online database facility from NADRA for identification of criminals. The CTD owes Rs 30 for verification of each National Identity Card (NIC).
According to the sources, the CTD owes lacs of rupees to NADRA in light of which the online facility has been withdrawn. Reportedly, the negligence and corruption of the high ranked officials has caused the issue.
