Former President General (r) Pervez Musharraf has blamed the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) for “destroying the country through ruling it by rotation and increasing the burden of foreign loans”. He was addressing the CEC and CWC of his All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) on Sunday.

He recounted the achievements Pakistan made during his tenure and pointed out that they said goodbye for the first time to IMF and the World Bank in the 66-year history of the country and instead of acquiring they retired the debt, put the country on the path of development.

The former president said his government provided jobs to tens of thousands of youths, promoted Information Technology and adopted a policy against terrorism. He said he looks ahead for the country and those who raised hue and cry at that time are now ashamed and hiding their faces.
