1,062 anti-dengue workers to join the force

While chairing a meeting to review dengue control measures in Rawalpindi on Saturday, Punjab Minister for Labour and Manpower Raja Ashfaq Sarwar has said that the process for recruitment of 1,062 anti-dengue workers be started immediately so that dengue preventive activities be initiated in letter and spirit by involving all field staff of health and line departments.

EDO Health Dr Khalid Randhawa briefed about Anti Dengue Action Plan 2015 to the participants and said that dengue surveillance is in progress and according to the laid down SOP sensitive union councils of Rawalpindi had been focused for IRS.

Raja Ashfaq Sarwar stressed on close coordination among district and sub-divisional level activates to check larvae at all indoors and out door potential breeding places and asked that elected representatives of respective areas may also be involved in the relating proceedings.
