A local Anti-Terrorism Court in Karachi Wednesday remanded five suspects arrested by Rangers during a pre-dawn raid on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) headquarters, Nine Zero.
The suspects – Mehmood, Amir, Shakeel, Javed and Abid – were produced in the court where judge granted police 14-day physical remand of the alleged criminals.
Reports said cases of illegal possession of arms and ammunition, murders and attempted murders have been filed against the suspects.
Meanwhile, seven others accused belonging to a banned outfit were produced before the court and later handed over to police on physical remand.
The accused, arrested by Counter-Terrorism department of police from Shah Latif Town in Karachi, included Iftikhar, Farooq, Salar, Zahid Khan, Nafees, Waseem and Waris, officials said.
