KARACHI:
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived in Karachi today on day long visit aimed at reviewing law-and-order situation, according to sources.
The PM was welcomed by Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan after his aircraft landed at Pakistan Air Force (PAF) base.
Inquired sources informed that the PM will preside over a high-level meeting that will be attended by Chief Minister and heads of police and Rangers at the airbase.
In the meeting, sources said, the PM would be briefed over progress into ongoing operation against criminals in the city.
The PM is also scheduled to visit Karachi Stock Exchange besides his meeting with traders and political leaders.
Sources stated that soon after his arrival, the prime minister will be given a briefing by Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, DG Rangers, IG Police and home secretary on the law and order situation and ongoing operation against criminals.
Whilst the PM is in Karachi could he please instruct an immediate operation at Bilawal House against the most corrupt Mr 10% politician in the history of Pakistan that is after Nawaz Sharif himself. Off course Chor will never commence an operation against a Dakoo!
