Petition filed against MQM chief in light of Saulat’s allegations

A petition has been filed against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in the Supreme Court (SC) Lahore registry in the light of death row convict MQM activist Saulat Mirza’s shocking confessions.

As per details, Barrister Zafarullah filed a petition in light of Mirza’s allegations levelled against MQM chief Altaf Hussain for being involved in several killings. The petition urged the court to bring back Hussain and arrest him. The petition states that Babar Ghouri, Haider Abbas Rizvi and other MQM members should be included in the Exit Control List (ECL).

Moreover, the petitioner demanded of the court to bring Hussain back from London. The petitioner also urges the court to change death punishment of Mirza to life imprisonment.
