The Punjab government is investing billions of rupees to improve public health facilities, said Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif while addressing a meeting via video link at Civil Secretariat on Sunday. The chief minister directed that effective monitoring of new steps being taken for improving healthcare facilities at Tehsil and district headquarter hospitals be carried out. He directed that implementation should be ensured on the steps being taken for public health.
The secretary health gave a briefing regarding new incentive package for specialist doctors.
Advisor on Health Salman Rafiq, chief secretary, secretaries health, information, finance and authorities concerned attended the meeting through video link at Civil Secretariat.
