Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Friday told his party’s lawmakers and workers to be prepared for the next phase of anti-government protests, hinting that Lahore could be the next destination of the ‘Azadi’ bus.
Addressing his party’s MPAs, newly-elected senators and coalition partners at Bani Gala, Khan commended his party for thwarting attempts by some parties to carry out horse trading in Senate’s polls.
“Parties who were engaged in horse-trading had to face an embarrassment,” he said. “Youth have great expectations from Tehreek-e-Insaf. Nobody can buy the passion of PTI volunteers,” he said.
“We will make it difficult for a rigged government to function smoothly,” he claimed.
