Mashhood finds a solution to problems faced by students

The Punjab government has decided to arrange foundation course of one year for FA, FSc and ICom pass students desirous of getting admission in Oxford University, Cambridge University and London School of Economics. It may be mentioned that for admission in British universities, the candidates are required to have 13 year’s education certificate.

This decision was taken in a meeting of logistic committee presided over by Minister for Education Rana Mashhood to review the arrangements for the visit of 41 position holder girl and boy students selected on merit for study tour to 25 universities of Britain, Germany and China. Representatives of School Education, Higher Education Department, Industries, Commerce and Investment, Punjab Board of Technical Education, Chief Minister’s Office and Protocol Departments besides Social Protection Authority Chief Executive Officer Sohail Anwar Chaudhary especially participated as technical expert.

Mashhood told the meeting that besides position holder girl and boy students studying in first year of colleges, medical colleges and engineering universities and talented students of master programmes, top position holders in commerce, A-Level and technical education will also be sent on a study tour to foreign universities.
