Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that Pakistan People’s Party Senator Raza Rabbani is a man of repute but PTI will not vote for him, as they have decided in principle not to support the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) or PPP.

“To the extent I know him [Rabbani] … he has a good reputation,” Imran Khan said while addressing a press conference on Tuesday.

The PTI chief said that they will watch over Rabbani’s performance as Senate chairman, adding that the nation wants to see a change in the current political system. “People are tired of the politics of reconciliation.”

He said that three of the four cases of alleged rigging in 2013 general elections were being overlooked by NADRA now, and a street movement would be launched if a judicial commission to probe electoral fraud is not formed by the government.

“I will try to meet the NADRA chairman as well and convince him for votes verification,” said Khan.
