The morning events of the last day of the National Horse and Cattle Show were graced by National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq as chief guest. Minister for Finance, Excise and Taxation Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman, National Assembly Member Pervaiz Malik, Advisor to Chief Minister on Livestock Chaudhry Arshad Jutt, Punjab Director General Rangers Major General Khan Tahir Javed Khan, National and provincial assembly members and senior government and military officials were also present on the occasion.
When the chief guest reached the Fortress Stadium, national anthem was played and male and female students performed on national songs. Later, students from all the provinces presented unity show in an organised manner and made beautiful map of Pakistan.
The audience appreciated cavalcade of horses, camels and other cattle. They hooted when livestock of different kinds passed in front of them. The dance presented by the youth of different areas and provinces especially Chitrali and Khattak dance with swords was worth seeing. The parade presented by Rangers and army contingents on tunes of national songs and acrobats by army’s trained dogs were highly appreciated by the audience. In the end, video CD and photo album of the events of the show were presented to the chief guest on behalf of the Punjab directorate general public relations.
