A group of unidentified gunmen have attacked a building of Sufi Muslims, killing six prayers and wounding five others in the capital city Kabul.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Interior states that the incident took place in the Company area of Kabul city located in the 5th police district.
The statement adds that people were busy offering evening prayers when unidentified gunmen stormed the building and opened fire at them, leaving six prayers killed and five others wounded.
The motive behind yesterday’s attack at a building of Suffis is not identified yet but police say they have arrested five suspects into this regard who are currently into interrogation.
To arrest the culprits, the statement further adds that police have started an investigation and search operation in the area where the incident took place.
In order to avoid the sound of the shooting reach to a wider area, according to the statement, the assailants had put silencers on their pistols.
