A tanker carrying 40,000 litres of oil overturned at Gujranwala Road on Monday. Local residents started filling their bottles and tubs with oil after the accident while the rescue teams mixed water in the oil to avoid any chance of accident.
As per details, the tanker tumbled at the road that was under construction.
It took a while for the rescue 1122 to reach the site of incident. However, they started to mix up water in the oil, already spilt over the road, whereas shops and roads towards Gujranwala Road were blocked in order to avoid any consequent mishap.
