KARACHI:
A fire eruption in slums located next to the Bait-ul-Mukarram Masjid in Karachi was reported on Thursday, near the Expo where the Prime Minister inaugurated the Exhibition moments ago.
Fire tenders had been delayed in reaching the spots due to security for the 9th Expo Exhibition.
It was feared that the intensity of the fire may spread to nearby apartments and houses, however, the fire was put out by extinguishers after a delay of 3 hours.
No casualties have been reported so far.
