The Health Ministry’s thriving efforts have put an end to the poliovirus in Rawalpindi according to latest reports.
Every month samples are taken for testing the water from two areas around Nullah Lai, i.e. Safdarabad and Dhok Dalal areas. Upon testing, the result of the samples came negative for the first time this month.
A Health Ministry Officer Dr. Rafiq confirmed the report and said this was possible all due to the strict monitoring and direction of CM Punjab.
