An elderly doctor committed suicide by shooting himself on Sunday.
According to police, 65-year-old Dr Abdul Hameed, a resident of Nishat Colony, shot himself in the head to end his life.
The body was shifted to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities, however, reasons behind the suicide could not be ascertained till the filing of the report.
