A Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) activist was left red-faced when slip of the tongue landed her in trouble.
A large of number of PML-N workers gathered outside the Election Commission’s office where National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq was expected to appear before election tribunal in NA-122 rigging case.
An excited party worker caught media’s attention when she started chanting “Go Nawaz Go” slogan. She realised her mistake when another PML-N worker notified her to chant “Go Imran Go”.
The lady apologised to the event organisers but unhappy party workers grabbed placard from her hand and stopped her from chanting slogans.
The election tribunal is hearing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s petition who challenged the National Assembly speaker’s victory in NA-122 constituency during 2013 general elections.
