Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Wednesday appointed Usman Mobin as new chairman of National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA).
Before his promotion to the top office, Mobin was serving as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at NADRA.
The recipient of Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, which was conferred on him on August 14 2008, had assumed the vital role of CTO in 2002.
Educated at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) USA, Mobin holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science.
