According to the reports, PPP and PML-Q have established contacts to formulate joint strategy for the Senate elections. PPP’s delegate headed by its Punjab President Manzoor Wattoo will meet PML chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Monday.
Both the parties will review options for the formation of an alliance in the upcoming elections.
The PML is seeking to get its President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain re-elected to the upper house as his tenure will be expiring in March.
