Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid Friday rebuked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman for “clamouring about personal woes” on the sad demise of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, saying that the PTI chief’s act “on a day of mourning of our brethren is contrary to our religious, social and diplomatic norms”.

In a statement, the minister said that Khan should pray to the Almighty in Masjid-e-Haram to give him the courage to speak the truth.

“When will the opponents of establishing military courts against terrorism pray in the holy place for exterminating the menace of terrorism from Pakistan,” said the minister, adding that over 70,000 observers from across the globe termed the election of 2013 as transparent and Khan should also accept the election results.
