A truck crushed to death a cop and injured another seriously within the limits of Hyderi police station in Larkana.
Two police constables, Manzoor Solangi and Ameer Ali Shahani, were chasing a speeding truck which did not stop despite their instructions. When they reached near OPF colony, they again asked the truck driver Zahoor Pathan to stop but he did not.
They raced their bike to arrest him but in the chase the truck hit them and Manzoor was crushed to death and his accomplice Ameer received serious injuries. Ameer was rushed to Chandka Medical College Hospital Larkana where duty doctors described his condition very serious.
Police have arrested the truck driver and impounded the truck. Further probe was underway, police said.
