Line superintendent nabbed for supplying electricity illegally

A Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) team arrested a LESCO line superintendent on the charges of illegal electricity supply to a plaza.

According to the FIA spokesman, the team conducted raid at a seven-storey plaza in Shahalam Market on Wednesday and arrested Line Superintendent Ghazanfar for supplying illegal electricity.

The supply was being given through a local transformer. A case has also been registered against the arrested accused.

Meanwhile, FIA Anti Corruption Cell has arrested a proclaimed offender Rehmat.

SIX AIR PASSENGERS HELD FOR VARIOUS CHARGES:

Meanwhile, the FIA Immigration Wing arrested six passengers on various charges at the Allama Iqbal International Airport.

According to the FIA spokesman, the FIA Immigration staff arrested three passengers who carried emergency passports and were travelling via flight number TK-714 from Turkey.

The arrested passengers were identified as Amjad Masih s/o Anwar Masih, Irfan Javed s/o Javed Iqbal and were sent to FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC) on the charges of illegal entry into Turkey.

The other two passengers Muhammad Ahmad and Sajid Ali arrived from Libya through flight EV-241. The both arrested were sent to Anti-Human Trafficking Circle. Another passenger Shakeel Ahmad was also arrested and sent to AHTC.
