The commander of NATO-led forces in Afghanistan General John F Campbell has said that the extremist so-called Islamic state or Daesh is busy in recruiting fighters in both Afghanistan and Pakistan.
The US general made the remarks in interview with the newspaper Army Times and added that that extremist group by distributing night letters was openly inviting the youths to its rank.
However, he said that he did not have accurate information on the subject. Likewise, a number of people in Sar-e-Pul province have reported moving armed persons carrying black flag and introducing themselves Daesh members.
