A terror bid was thwarted in Karachi as a bomb found in North Nazimabad area was defused on Saturday. A suspect was also apprehended from the site.
Police said that a bomb was found at Qalandaria Chowk in North Nazimabad locality after which a bomb disposal squad was summoned, which defused the locally-made bomb placed in a box.
The police also detained a man photographing at the site.
