Jamaat-e-Islami Chief Siraj-ul-Haq has made it clear that the government should take indiscriminate action against terrorists regardless of their political affiliation for restoration of lasting peace in the country.
He stated this while talking to media on his arrival at Jinnah International Airport last night. Siraj-ul-Haq said some anti-state elements were trying to use Peshawar incident against Islam and religious seminaries in order to create anarchy in the country.
He further said that the government should evolve such law through which criminals regardless of any political, cast and creed be brought into the court of law.
“The law against terrorists and terrorism should be implemented at all on equal basis, and those who are involved in tarnishing the image of mosques and religious seminaries are working on western agenda”, he added.
Siraj-ul-Haq further said that a conspiracy was being hatched to divide society on the basis of religion, adding that his party had condemned every bid of terrorism in strong words.
