Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq has recovered from his injury but required at least two weeks to show his full fitness, doctor says.
According to reports, Misbah-ul-Haq returned to National Cricket Academy (NCA) on Tuesday and also started little running.
He also started batting practice in nets in which he didn’t complained for pain in his hamstring, doctor said.
Misbah’s doctor said that cricketer still required two weeks to show his full fitness.
Sipper suffered the hamstring injury during the second One Day International (ODI) of five-match series against New Zealand played in UAE.
He was ruled out from last three ODIs of the tour.
However, Pakistan team suffered the big blows with injuries to Junaid Khan, Sohaib Maqsood, Umar Gul and Bilawal Bhatti.
Junaid Khan and Sohaib Maqsood somehow recovered from their injuries and now they are taking part in domestic pentangular cup in National Stadium Karachi in order to show their fitness.
Time is running out for most of the players because Pakistan cricket team selectors called for a meeting on January 4 in order to finalise the team.
