Renowned Pakistani cricketer Younas Khan visited Army Public School (APS), Peshawar on Tuesday. He offered fateha for those martyred at the school in the worst terrorist attack Pakistan has ever seen.

He handed over goods that had been collected on behalf of the New Zealand and Pakistani cricket teams collectively, to the school administration.

Younas Khan told media that players from both the Pakistani and New Zealand cricket team were very shocked over what transpired in Peshawar on December 16. The carnage left them mentally disturbed.

To express solidarity with the bereaved families players from both the Pakistani and New Zealand team sent their personal kits, shirts, trousers, capes, and other items, which they have been using international cricket matches.

The New Zealand cricket team also sent some cash for the school in two envelops which Khan will be submitting into APS’s account directly. “I don’t know how much this amount is as these envelopes are sealed,” he said while showing the envelopes to the media.
