At least three people were killed and 11 others injured in a collision between two vehicles on Sunday.
The police said that the accident took place at Chakwal-Talagang Road near village Murid where a Taxila-bound passenger wagon collided head-on with a private car.
Three car riders identified as Muhammad Afzal, 70, Zarda Khalid, 14, and two-month old Haleema Kamran, died on the spot while a dozen others, including women, sustained injuries.
Rescue 1122 personnel reached the site of the accident and shifted the injured including Abdul Majid, Farooq Afzal, Fakhra Shaheen, Muhammad Waqas, Fazal Hussain, Razia Begum, Maheen Zahra and Nasreen Fatima to DHQ Chakwal for treatment.
