Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak says progress has been made in investigation in the attack on Army Public School Peshawar.

Talking to journalists in Nowshera on Saturday, Khattak said the law enforcing agencies have arrested a number of terrorists and their facilitators. He said investigation process has been extended to Afghanistan.

Khattak stressed the need for restriction of unregistered Afghan refugees to camps. He suggested Pakistan, Afghanistan and UNHCR should evolve a comprehensive plan for early repatriation of Afghan refugees to make Pakistan a peaceful country.

The chief minister welcomed the move to set up special trial courts which will help give exemplary punishment to terrorists. He said anti-terrorist force comprising one thousand jawans would soon be recruited to maintain peace in the province.
