Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that either Asif Ali Zardari or Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will attend the public meeting scheduled for the seventh death anniversary of PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto on December 27.

Talking to media after visiting Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto on Thursday for finalising the arrangements of the event, he said there were no differences between PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari and chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. He said these rumours were spread by the enemies of PPP which were baseless.

Shah also dispelled the impression that there were differences between Makhdoom Amin Fahim and party leadership, adding such things should not be made an issue.

The chief minister said he was unaware of establishment of military courts as he could not participate in the meeting and he came to know about these courts through newspapers. He said now the cases would be disposed of quickly and the enemies of humanity would be awarded exemplary punishments.

He said the country was facing security problems but the followers of Benazir would take part in large number. He said recitation from the Holy Quran would be performed in early morning on Saturday to start the event. He said lunger or free food would be distributed at 11:00 am and renowned scholars and poets would present their papers and poetry. At the end, a large public meeting would be held which would be addressed by the PPP central leaders, he added.
