Foolproof security arrangements are being made by police on Christmas, said Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Dr Haider Ashraf on Wednesday while revealing the security plan for Christmas in a meeting with a 12-member delegation led by bishop of Lahore. The participants of the meeting cut a Christmas cake at the DIG operations office.
Under the security plan, all the churches would be divided into three categories and 5000 police officials including six SPs, 35 DSPs and 83 inspectors would perform duty to provide security cover to churches and celebrations on Christmas.
