At least two militants from banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed overnight in the metropolis area of Surjani Town, private media reported on Wednesday.
According to the report, police personnel intercepted four suspected people riding two motorbikes in Surjani Town. The suspected people defied police orders and a shootout ensued.
Two of the terrorists were killed in the exchange of gunfire. The other two managed to flee the scene, according to the police sources.
Police said they recovered weapons and ammunition from the custody of the saboteurs. Police sources added the terrorists hailed from the banned TTP
