*LHC seeks IG Punjab’s reply in 15 days over containers’ issue
The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday directed Punjab inspector general (IG) to submit reply in 15 days over the petition filed in LHC for not giving compensatory amount to the container owners.
The case was heard at LHC in which the lawyer of the petitioner alleged that the police officers are not giving compensatory amount to the owners of containers that were used in thwarting the ways of protests by Pakistan Awami Tehreek and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
He further argued that more than one dozen containers were still in the possession of police.
On this court ordered the IG to submit a written reply over this issue in 15 days.
