Star off Spinner Saeed Ajmal has made the decision not to bowl ‘Doosra’ to save his international career.

Saeed Ajmal giving an interview said that he has been practicing with Saqlain Mushtaq to perfect his new bowling action.

He revealed that he is also practising carrom ball to make it his new weapon instead of Doosra.

Ajmal said that his elbow was bent beyond the 40 degree but now was very close to 15 degree limit which will soon be covered.

Saeed said that he was quite happy to play a match after three months. “I’ll get back in form after playing a few matches,” he added.

Saeed Ajmal was banned from international cricket in August. His bowling action was unofficially tested after he practised his new bowling action in London where he failed to clear it but in second attempt his normal off-spin delivery was cleared but Doosra remained out of limit.

However Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to conduct an unofficial test in Chennai before asking for an official action review of International Cricket Council (ICC).
